| ARCHITECTURE
|
|
| Architecture
is an important aspect no matter where in the world you visit but
this is even more relevant for the cities of Hawkes Bay. The story
of the Hawkes Bay's history can be read like a book by inspecting
the styles and attributes that have shaped the buildings and the people
that now live amongst them. |

| MARINE
PARADE |
|
| This
one stretch of shoreline used to be the lifeline that connected Napier
to the rest of the Bay, at the end of last century. But through nature
and a mans hand this stoney spit has been transformed into a tree
lined paradise rich with attractions and sites yet still remains the
feeling of yester-year. |

| PARKS
AND WILDERNESS |
|
| As
more and more of nature is destroyed in the name of progress, there
are still a few havens of untouched wilderness out there for us enjoy
with Hawkes Bay. Our National parks/ forests and wet areas can be
enjoyed but must also be respected so that future generations can
also experience it. People who want to stay within the urban areas
are also catered for by parks that are renowned throughout the county
as a sight in their own right, not to be missed. |
